The Negroni
Michelin-starred nose-to-tail dining institution near Smithfield Market, founded by Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver. The downstairs bar operates independently and serves the legendary Fergroni — Fergus Henderson's own creation, described as a Negroni as it should be. The recipe is stronger and gin-forward: 50%% Tanqueray gin, 30%% Punt e Mes, 20%% Campari, stirred over ice and garnished with lemon (never orange). It is traditionally off-menu and available only to those who know to ask. St. JOHN and Campari previously released the Fergroni as a pre-bottled cocktail to celebrate the restaurant's 25th anniversary.
