The Negroni
Tucked into the ground floor of The Hari hotel on Chesham Place, il Pampero has been Belgravia's neighbourhood Italian since 2016, dressed by Tara Bernerd in Vespa-green lacquer, velvet and soft leather. The bar's house Negroni, christened the Bull Dog, swaps standard London dry for a hibiscus-infused gin shaken up with Antica Formula and Campari, then finished with orange zest for a fruit-led, slightly tart twist on the Milanese classic. Bartender Giuseppe Abbracciante also pours a barrel-aged version crowned with amaretto foam, making il Pampero a quiet but serious destination for aperitivo drinkers.
